The building had beautiful art on the walls, which added a visually striking touch. the flapjack I received upon arrival was a warm and delicious welcome. the breakfast was absolutely scrumptious, especially the homemade veggie sausages. the location was convenient, with parking close by and a good supermarket nearby.
The town itself was a bit disappointing, with limited eating places and many of them booked up. the street-facing room was uncomfortably hot, and the noise from the electric guitar practice and passing vehicles made it difficult to sleep.

The room was clean and comfortable, with tasteful decor. The hosts were pleasant and welcoming, making us feel at home. The location was convenient, close to local attractions and amenities.
The noise from outside was a major drawback, as it was located on a busy street. This made it difficult to have a peaceful and romantic escape.

The breakfast spread was absolutely delightful, with a variety of options including fresh juices, pastries, cereals, and a tasty full English or veggie version. I felt like I was in a culinary heaven, with flavors that could rival a painting from the National Gallery!
Noise level was high.

The room was clean, spacious, and had a lovely shower and roll-top bath. the bed was really comfortable with luxurious bed linen. We especially loved the pastry box and boiled eggs. The owner was very attentive and provided lots of information on local attractions and dining options. The tea and coffee facilities were well thought out, and we particularly enjoyed the filtered coffee.
The noise from the street at night was quite loud, and we had to keep the windows open as there was no fan in the room. The breakfast offering could have been more generous, with no selection of cereal or fruit in addition to the cooked breakfast.

Amazing breakfast - I felt like I was eating in a commune. The minimalist decor made me feel like I was in an art gallery. So much character, like staying in a museum. Love it!
What a shame there were no fans to drown out the noise of the street. So irritating to have to listen to life happening outside.
